Expungement Events
Stash Ventures will be hosting their very own fee-free expungement resource fair on 9/23/23 from 10am-2pm at Reception Gallery at the Frauenthal Center in downtown Muskegon. Our goal is to complete as many expungements as possible in western Michigan with the help from our friends Great Lakes Expungement Network, Michael Thompson Clemency Project, Honigman LLP, and Indigrow.
What is expungement?
An expungement is a legal process that seals your criminal record from public view. It protects your privacy and allows you to take advantage of your job, school, and other opportunities that previously were unavailable because of your arrest and charges showing up in a criminal background check. Expungement can be as simple as filing paperwork, all the way to the extent of 3 years of court dates.
Why is expungement important anyways?
